Morocco is a place of inspiration for many creators. Mark Twain wrote about it in “Simpleton Abroad”, Henri Matisse created one of his most recognizable paintings “View from the Window. Tangier”, and the images of ancient Arabian streets are no stranger to viewers thanks to the plots of the TV series “Clone”.

The presented photos are a sneak peek at the everyday life of the Berber town of Chefchaouen through the eyes of a female photographer. The place in the Rif Mountains in northern Africa attracts people from all over the world with its unusual blue-blue architecture.

The second city of the exposition is Fes, the largest center of Islamic culture, famous for its dark labyrinths of the most intricate pedestrian zone in the world, a UNESCO heritage site. No navigator works there. The photographs plunge into the heart of the artisans and tanners of the Arab world, where for a thousand years people have been creating leather goods in unbearable conditions.

Despite this, the workplace is inherited. The exhibition “Colors of the Kingdom of Morocco” brings to light the real life of another continent with all its roughness, surrounded by bright inspiring colors. Curious details, colorful faces, and patterns usually go unnoticed from the windows of a tourist bus. This is an opportunity to look at the surrounding reality from a different angle and open up new, unfamiliar avenues for reflection.
